Welcome to eastend international academy, umuahia, an extraordinary school with a proud history of educational excellence. We are a non-selective, non-denominational free school and welcome all boys and girls aged 4-19. As a free school, we are state-funded and act independently of local government.

The academy continues to provide a dynamic mix of academic learning and an exceptional range of extracurricular enrichment but, as a state-funded school, with the added advantage of no-day fees. We are one of only a handful of free schools in the UK offering such an all-through education and our pupils gain hugely from the long-term stability this provides, developing lifelong friendships and receiving ongoing support and inspiration from staff who get to know them well and can make informed decisions about their progress and future.
